Greetings,

Thank you for visiting our SD 18 website.  My name is Dean Mahlstedt.  I am a husband, father, business owner, chamber of commerce  member, property owner, township supervisor, republican party activist , and a patriot.  I believe a great mission was ordained by God and set in motion by man.  That mission, the founding of these United States of America.  Her foundations were not made perfect, as many of the founding fathers have testified to in their own hand, but those foundations have held for more than two centuries. 

We are at great risk of losing everything that our grandparents and their grandparents before them ever hoped to gain.  Our nation has a crumbling foundation and a sleepy people to keep watch over it.   The sacrifice of those before us, even back to the birth, harkens us to wake up and take action. 

It is not too late to steer our nation back on course and grant our children and grandchildren a hope and a future.  Without our painful investment they stand to suffer more than we can ever imagine.  Please join me and others like me in a fight to keep that which the founders gave to us:  Life, liberty and the pursuit of property.
